How to connect

Connect SetuprAI Brain MCP to Claude, Claude Code, or ChatGPT. The MCP link also works with other AI tools.

    Pick your AI tool

    Open Claude's custom connector dialog

    The connector name and MCP link should already be filled in. If there's no custom connector option, ask your Claude admin to enable custom connectors.

    Review the connector details and click “Add”

    If the form is empty, paste the link manually.

    Sign in and approve the connection

    You'll sign in with Google and approve access to your brain once.

    Prompt Claude to use your brain

    Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to save or search a memory.

How to refresh after app changes

Connected assistants cache the tool list. Refresh after an update so your assistant uses the latest version.

Claude

Connectors page → select this connector → refresh its tools. If the link changed, remove the connector and add it again.

Claude Code

Start a new session. If the link changed, run "claude mcp remove setuprai-brain" and run the install command again.

ChatGPT

Plugins page → select this app → Information → Refresh. If the link changed, delete the app and connect again.

Other clients

Open the connection settings, refresh or reconnect the server, then start a new chat.
